Roasted - Guatemala Atitlan Honey
Details
Guatemala Atitlán Honey
Sweet, smooth, and a little golden magic!
Grown high in the volcanic mountains surrounding Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, this coffee brings together the harvests of local farmers at elevations of 2,250–2,500 metres. The cool mountain climate allows the cherries to ripen slowly, developing the sweetness and complexity that make this region so special.
But here's the sweet twist: honey-processed coffee doesn't actually contain honey! Instead, some of the fruit's sticky, sugary layer is left on the beans while they dry, helping develop a naturally sweet and rounded cup. The result? A delicious combination of caramel, creamy nougat, chocolate, and walnut, with hints of mandarin, vanilla, and cinnamon. Expect gentle acidity, a smooth body, and a sweet finish that sticks around just long enough to make you want another sip.
The vibe: A cozy afternoon by the lake, wrapped in a warm blanket, with a slice of caramel cake. Sweet, comforting, and just a little fancy.
