Roasted - Colombia Sugar Cane Decaf
Details
Colombia Excelso Sugar Cane Decaf
All the flavour, none of the caffeine drama!
Who said decaf has to be boring? Grown by smallholder farmers across Colombia at elevations around 1,800 metres, this Excelso proves that great coffee doesn't need a caffeine kick to make an impression.
Here's the sweet science: instead of relying on heavy processing that can leave coffee tasting flat, this coffee uses ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane to gently remove caffeine while preserving much of its natural flavour. And no, it doesn't make the coffee sugary! The result is a beautifully balanced cup with notes of cocoa, brown sugar, caramel, and vanilla, plus subtle hints of red fruits and crisp apple. Expect a creamy body, gentle acidity, and a smooth, sweet finish.
What's the vibe? All the cozy coffee-shop energy, minus the buzz. Think chocolate-covered caramel, your favourite blanket, and absolutely no reason to check the clock before brewing another cup.
